All are fast becoming staples of any great project management tool, and the way Zoho incorporates the features is really nice. Overall the interface in Zoho is clean and simple, and does a good job masking its powerful capabilities. 

Zoho Projects   – As a startup, we had to create a lot of operating documents from scratch – our code of conduct, employee manuals, things of that nature. So within Zoho Projects, we created a project for each document and assigned tasks to the administrative teams. This way, we were able to report on the progress of each document, track who was doing what, and identify and address any problem areas. We do the same thing to maintain the code and content of our website, write a brochure, and perform just about any other administrative task. We even use Zoho Projects to manage marketing campaigns that go beyond the scope of Zoho CRM in terms of detailed planning, execution and management.

 Zoho Projects is a great tool for organizations that do not have a formal project management office (PMO) or employees with project management (PM) designations, such as certified project manager (PMP). 

 Zoho Corporation’s main target for the Zoho Projects application is the SMB market, but it does offer scalability for larger firms.

 By realizing its market space, Zoho Projects has very tight integration capabilities with Google Apps, thereby allowing organizations to extend PM capabilities from one interface. 

  Its application provides a common sense approach to creating projects, tasks, scheduling, planning, and collaboration in order to complete a project.

  The interface is quite intuitive, and users can customize their own interface by using WSIWYG configuration options. Overall, Zoho Projects is a good small business tool that offers PM capabilities without a steep learning curve.
